Dr. Christopher E. L. Toote

Dr. Christopher Edison Lynn Toote is an administrator of higher education, who has extensive management and leadership experience, holding a Ph.D. in Urban Higher Education and Administration, a Doctor of Ministry, and a Master of Business Administration degree. Dr. Toote is a businessman, inventor, consultant, and motivational speaker on positive thinking and leadership. Dr. Toote has served as a leader in higher education campus dining, student affairs administration, and pastoral leadership. Dr. Toote is the author of several books, including “The 10 Biblical Laws of Success” and “Christian Higher Education: An Examination Of The Shift In Mission From Non-Secular To Secular”. Dr. Toote serves as a board of directors member on several organizations, including the Davenport Community Development Corporation (DCDC) and the National Association of Colleges and University Food Services (NACUFS). Currently, Dr. Toote serves as the Executive Pastor of Administration, Leadership, Christian Education, and Operations at Bethel Baptist Church at Chicago Heights, Adjunct Professor at Northern Seminary, and Executive Director at The University of Chicago.
